How many times, have singapore gone through this ” meetings” white papers and preliminary work
When, will we admit, that politics should be settled first ?
How long ago, was it, that we went through an exercise like this over the so called high speed rail to malaysia ? If i remember, some pundits were telling it wont take off as the singapore to kl route was a money maker for MAS and for MAS , who was loosing money to give up this route in favor of rail was commiting suicide .
What happened, najib & umno got toppled and Mahatir, who never liked singapore, came into power . Mahatir after gaining power, seems to be more interested in running johor affirs and runing singapores dealing with johor. As a result, Our High speed rail was effectively cancelled .
Now we are back to sqaure 1 and with Muyiddin and now it seems, he too is on shaky ground
Its time we stop doing this .. its going nowhere. Until there is a strong party in malaysia, which has everyone support. This is just a collosal waste of time…. and might i add, out tax payers funds .
